The Innisfil Minor Hockey Association Hosted the Novice Fun Festival 2016!

Innisfil

Last weekend, the Innisfil Minor Hockey Association (IMHA) hosted the IP/TYKE Novice Fun Festival 2016 at the Innisfil Recreation Complex (IRC).

Located at 7315 Yonge St., near Innisfil Beach Rd., the IRC is only a five minute drive from our Master-Planned Belle Aire Shores community, so we figured we would stop by and check out the action!

44 teams registered for the tournament, which took place over the course of three days between January 29th and the 31st. We were obviously rooting for the Innisfil Winterhawks, but every team seemed to be performing extraordinarily! There were teams from Oakville, Mississauga, Stoney Creek, Cambridge, Barrie, Aurora, and other surrounding areas.

The IMHA seems like a fantastic organization, especially since they provided a free lunch to all the players who participated in the tournament through a sponsorship with The Beach Bar and Grill, which is located at 945 Innisfil Beach Rd., only about five minutes from Belle Aire Shores.

Innisfil really is a great hockey town. It has the facilities to support large tournaments, people travelled from all over to be here for the weekend, and you could feel the excitement in the air. There was a friendly, competitive energy flowing through the crowds, making for three full days of fun!

It won’t be long before Innisfil is once again abuzz with hockey fever because the IMHA is currently in the process of organizing the March Madness 2016 tournament! We can’t wait to see everyone out enjoying themselves again in just a couple short months.

If you haven’t registered for Belle Aire Shores by Fernbrook Homes, Pristine Homes, and Zancor Homes, then do so today! We are quickly approaching the preview opening of Phase 1, as well as the unveiling of our six new model homes.

Belle Aire Shores will feature townhomes, 36’, 42’, and 50’ detached homes. For special invites and updates, register here!
