Bear Essentials – a country gift shop, the perfect place to find something special for that last name on your list. They specialize in unique gift items not found at other stores, and carry works by local and Canadian artists.
Pastry Peddler – this season, the Pastry Peddlar has an assortment of seasonal treats. We suggest an afternoon of shopping is finished up with something tasty.
The Quilter’s Bolt – for the crafty person on your list, try the Quilter’s Bolt, as they carry a wide selection of beautiful fabrics. The store is open Tuesday thru Saturday from 10-5pm.
Millbrook Home Hardware – Home Hardware offers a selection of gift items for moms, dads and kids! You’ll be surprised at what you can find at this great little store.
Millbrook is also conveniently equipped with more practical Christmas needs. There’s a Foodland, and LCBO, and a Buck or Two to load up on the ‘essentials’ and bypass the city’s hustle and bustle.
Round out your day in Millbrook with a public skating at the Millbrook Community Centre, or a snowy walk around the trails starting at Needler’s Mill. There’s a reason Millbrook is named as it is. The streams made for an excellent place to build a Mill, and you’ll find the original, still standing. It’s a lovely place to admire the view and take a few photos.
