1. Scandinave Spa Blue Mountain

152 Grey County Rd 21, The Blue Mountains, ON L9Y 0K8

If you’re looking to take your spa experience to a whole new invigorating level, then Blue Mountains’ Scandinave Spa Resort is right up your alley. Less than 80km away from Innisfil’s town centre, this popular spot will quickly have you revisiting whether solo, with your partner, or on a cheeky girl’s trip. This magical property is nestled in the woods and the spa itself is a moderately-sized outdoor resort that includes a eucalyptus steam room, sauna, Nordic baths and waterfalls, warm pools and fire pit lounges. Laying by the fire or in one of the hammocks while looking into the woods during winter is a real treat.

The spa’s massage therapists work wonders, but be sure to book these massages well in advance as spots fill up quickly. The spa’s staff are also diligent in making sure guests conversations are kept to a whisper so as not to disturb the tranquil atmosphere; a well-appreciated gesture. Make a whole day of it by plunging from one pool to the next, enjoying a massage and refuelling with quaint refreshments and snacks in the spa’s cafe. Be sure to book a night’s stay at any of the nearby hotels (if not the spa itself). You will be so blissfully relaxed you will want to simply enjoy it without the fuss of driving back home.
