3 of the Best Pumpkin Patches in Simcoe County

Simcoe County

One of the best things about Halloween, aside from the pillowcases of candy and scary costumes, is carving pumpkins with friends and family.

When it comes to selecting the perfect pumpkins for your front step, Innisfil residents are in luck because there are three nearby pumpkin patches!

1) Chappell Farms

For all of October, Chappell Farms hosts a Fall Festival daily from 9 am to 5 pm. On weekdays, the festival costs $6, and weekends are $11 because there are more attractions and events. Your family will definitely enjoy the wagon rides, running through the corn maze, playing in the jumping castles, petting the farm animals, and of course picking out a pumpkin!

For more information, visit the Chappell Farms Facebook page.

2) Drysdale’s

Drysdale’s is also open seven days a week from 9 am to 5 pm, and they are offering a wide range of family activities for the Halloween season on weekends. A few of the activities include the Haunted Wagon Ride through the Frightful Forest, a zip line, the Hay Play Place, face painting, a bonfire, train rides, and pumpkin picking.

For more information, visit Drysdales.ca.

3) Barrie Hill Farms

If you’re looking for other fresh produce in addition to a pumpkin for carving, then Barrie Hill Farms is one of your best options! They currently have squash, sweet corn, and fall strawberries for you to pick.

For more information about Barrie Hill Farms’ pumpkin selection and other produce offerings, visit Barriehillfarms.com.

If you’re not a resident of Innisfil or Barrie, then use this opportunity to visit one or all of these local farms to experience the family-friendly amenities offered around our Belle Aire Shores community.

From everyone at Fernbrook Homes, Pristine Homes, and Zancor Homes, we wish you and your family a happy and safe Halloween!
